DILEMMA (of some sort)

Copied from here.

Lately I've become neglectful of all the manga-related stuff I had to do. Aside from work and school, I've been busy with my newly acquired PSP! Yeah, I'm severely late for the party but what can you do. First in my queue is Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. I have to admit: I have an audiophiliac crush on Command-board!Terra. Yes, only in the Command Board; most of the time he sounds like a robot.

BUT THAT IS NOT THE POINT, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. The point is, at this rate, I won't be able to draw Quickening as much as I have hoped I would. Since drawing a page requires a day – a clean, undisturbed day. And I no longer have a clean, undisturbed day. Also, recently I've been preferring to draw Skiagraphia than Quickening. Skiagraphia gives me no pressures, and a page only takes thirty minutes to an hour, so I don't worry about it too much. But Quickening ... I mean, I really want to give the manga the attention that it deserves, but right now I can't. If I want consistent updates I would have to sacrifice a part of how I make the pages.

SO. I am thinking: I want to incorporate my approach to Skiagraphia in Quickening. Not to say that it will have the complete sketch quality to it, but probably the reckless strokes and the paper size. I will still, of course, make it look like an authentic manga, albeit compromising quality a bit.

It's not certain yet, but I'll attempt for a trial page. Let's see how it goes.

P.S. Since Volume 2 is approaching, I've decided to close the Formspring account for reasons including but not limited to: risk of potential plot spoilers, life expectancy, Birth by Sleep, and many more others.

I understand how drawing an organic manga, or comic can take countless time, and effort. With me I do the same thing, and my comic too me looks horrible because the clean up, and the toning makes it looks like it was done horribly. But hey its a good thing you're not giving up and that is a true nature of an artist, I love your comic and I hope you will continue with it in the future.
